FW: Sample Chapter And Sample Bibliography For Guidelines Of The Congressional Quarterly Press Books
Notes:
(1) To ensure that Book 3, Research Methodology and African Studies, covers most if not all of the indigenous African-centered research approaches, not just non-African methodologies adjusted to examine African phenomena, we need folk to write the chapters on "Archaeoastronomical Methodology," "Sankofan Methodology," "Griot Historiography," "Hermes Hermeneutics," and "Gnoseology." If you are interested in writing on any of these methodologies, please send me an E-mail so that I can send you the material I have collected on the topic and sample chapters to serve as guidelines for your contribution.
(2) Please note "The Street Soldiers Methodology"--an exciting African-centered approach: <http://www.street-soldiers.org/omega_adoption.htm> <http://www.street-soldiers.org/omega_adoption.htm>

My graduate student, Jessica Skylar, has written a great methodological essay on the approach and how it can be employed. If you are interested in reading the essay, please send me your request. Your feedback will help her strengthen it for the CQP Book 3.
