I think Sheki and your celebrated joke of a hero, Mugabe, give credence to the saying that patriotism (you call it Nationalism) is the last refuge of the scoundrel. Sheki was an out and out con-man, witness the way he pushed out the Brits from SLST so he and the APC could rape it. They were not satisfied with the illicit mining they had created in Kono to organized crime proportions, they had to commandeer the entirety of the  nation's diamond reserves into their pockets. Same story with the SLPMB.

In my book Sheki was not merely a corrupt politician; he was the Godfather of an organized criminal enterprise that impoverished SL under the ruse of politics and government.

Whichever party wins the nation's mandate next month, SLns have to be vigilant about recognizing the early formative signs of such thieving oligarchy and assault it to destruction.

The joke is fine Pierre, only thing diabolical is Shaki's rule. He created that hell in the first place. I can't figure why there hasn't been a clamour for the man's remains to be removed from the precincts of Parliament. He does not deserve that honour.
