Brother Affred, Some die hard slpp folks do not understand ethics and moral conduct. It is very difficult for te "Political Charles Manson and followers(SLPP) who are on this net to understand ethics and ethical conduct.

With all due respect, though, your statement that "Charles left
because of ... crooked manipulative action" is flat-out wrong. Mr. Margai
was an active SLPP member until about the last few hours of the
party's annual convention in Makeni. He left only after he had lost the
leadership election in which he had fully participated. He was unwittingly
reminding his countrymen that his father had done the same thing to the
venerable Sir Milton way back then. As they say, the apple does not fall far
from the tree.

Kinei Kallon,
This is not at all a true reflection of the
relationship between Charles Margai and the SLPP. Immediately
preceding the SLPP convention in Makeni, both Charles and Chief Norman for
various reasons contended that the convention was not going to be fair and
open. Norman withdrew his supporters from the convention and in meetings
with Charles, Dauda, Leigh and Lansana Nyalley, tried to convince them not to
attend the convention. Charles thought he should pursue the matter to its
logical conclusion and attend the convention even though the odds were by then
stacked highly against any other candidate.
As you recall, Norman went to the Supreme Court and briefly stopped the
convention until the S-C reversed itself. Charles made every effort to
reconcile with the party and make necessary changes from within as you guys
claim you are doing. But the SLPP has been hijacked by jackasses from the
top and most of us feel it is either extremely dishonest or hopelessly
naive to continue to take Tylenol for brain cancer.
So it is quite disingenuous to say that Charles is a party hopper or
that he left the SLPP because he did not win the party leadership
position. Charles and Hinga Norman never left the SLPP - the SLPP left
Charles and the Sierra Leone people.
