Emmerson is now 28-years-old.
This is his second album. Emmerson says when the war ended, he was hopeful about the future of his country.
EMMERSON: "We were expecting the next government to make a big change but there was no improvement, there's still no improvement."
Like many S/Leonean youth, Emmerson Amidu Bockarie is disappointed with the progress made since the end of the War (and going into a 3rd possible term for the ruling party). However, the SLPP (or Tejan Kabbah specifically) can brag of one thing: They liberalized freedom of speech! We can be fair and give that to them, yes? The only flaw they have in tihs regard (or one of) is the detention of Bra Kamara...
