On behalf of my family, I wish to thank you all for the support you
gave us and continue to give when I lost my brother, Amara Kabba.

Sometime ago, in consoling a bereaved friend of mine, I wrote:

We may think death is becoming rampant in forgetfulness that we are
actually coming closer to death when our love ones die. Many years ago,
death announcements meant nothing to us. We played soccer ball when the
people in whose age we are now in discussed death.

And the above statement reached home when my brother passed, and I know
now exactly how my friend felt at that time when I was only consoling
him. One thing I have learned from this experience, is to desist from
telling a bereaved person that I know how you feel. That feeling is
never the same from person to person.

Once more, I thank you all for your support. My brother is happy that
we are carrying on with life.
