Hey Amadu,
This is definitely an initiative that will indeed be very successful.
I definitely applaud the concept and by God's Grace everything will
be implemented successfuly. Take care and God Bless.
Sincerely,
Akindele

Brother Amadu,
This is definitely an exciting initiative that when successful (note
not "if"
will contribute significantly to the development of the
hinterland of Sierra Leone. Of course this project should not be
considered just as building homes, but with homes comes
infrastructure - roads, schools, hospitals, etc. to support those who
will live in the homes.
Also, I think that the logistics of going forward with this may
trigger a review of one of this forum's perennial topics - Sierra
Leone's Land Reform. I will not say anymore about this.
Unfortunately Amadu, I won't be able to attend the event in Maryland
due to the Prince of Wales Alumni Association, New Jersey Branch's
Thanksgiving Service. We always have to give thanks and a shameless
plug for our most wonderful school.
In fact Happy Foundation Day to all Prince Waleans in this forum and
elsewhere.
I have heard about this Canadian firm and their pre-engineered
concept for these homes that could make them more affordable, we also
should look at the appropriateness of local materials and
approporiate technology for Sierra Leone. Maybe these considerations
are already in the works.
Keep me apprised of developments with this project and let us work to
make it a success.
Also, remember under "P" for professionals, you should include
architects and engineers who may be integral to the success of this
project :-).
